what is the best tool to use, ive been looking for a small polishing wheel but no look.

what is the best compound to polish them with? i have had a quick go with rag and a bit of t-cut and they were coming up ok. the wheels are 13" ats classics so a normal mop will not work

Has the alloy pitted? or do you just want to freshen them up?

If theyve pitted then i`d go over them with wet and dry, start at 800 and work up to 1200, go higher if you want a better shine, then use autosol on it to bring the shine up followed by a coat of belgom alu (search ebay for that  )

If theyve just gone dull then give them a good polish with that belgom, really good stuff, it gives a fine protective coat too :thumb:
Hope that helps, i`d show you pics of the wheels ive done but im not allowed to upload pics yet

lol ahh right, dont think you`ll need a wheel/mop to bring them up again, maybe use autosol with a rag first if theyve REALLY dulled, then that belgom :thumb:

Actually, if youve got a dremel they do little polishing mops, not too deer, use that with autosol. I`ll get a picture of my wheels when im allowed ;)

^ nice pic that.

I used Autosol on my Kazeras and it filled in the pits, on close inspection you could see them still though.

Can anyone suggest how to tidy up the aluminium band on mine? Bear in mind being alu its NOT chrome and I don't want it highly polished lol

you can buy actual aluminium cleaner which basically removes all the dirt and tarnish making it look like new, its in a canister, just just squirt it on and rub in off with a cloth. we use it in work all the time (cant remember the name though) sure it can be found in most hardware stores
