Nova 1.0 - 29k - 1 elderly owner

For Sale is my Nova 1.0 Base model

Bought locally from a guy who was gonna do it up for his daughter (she didnt give it a second glance as all her mates have corsa's/saxo's etc!!) so i bought it from him.

Original owner was his next door neighbour who had the car since new.

Has had a new pair of wings and rear arches as they were starting to get a bit tatty and then the whole car repainted in Carmine Red (Twice as first job was cr@p!!).

11 months mot and 5 months tax, Immaculate interior in grey, No radio (Grey Blanking Plate), No passenger mirror (fitted a new one but blanking plate still there), lowered slightly on spax springs, SR steering wheel fitted, Clear indicators and side repeaters.

Pics were taken when it came back from bodyshop the first time, I'll put some newer pics up tomorrow.

All original parts are still there (Steering Wheel, Suspension, 13" wheels with 135 tyres!!, orange indicators etc)

People's jaws drop when they see it in the flesh it really is immaculate! The bottoms of the doors have had guys drooling by themselves!!

Looking for ?1200 ono or.......?1450 with an 2.0 XE out of a calibra (Full loom, Gearbox, ECU, everything there) supplied with car ready to go in.

Forgot to add, it still has Original Dealer Sticker in Rear Window (Doesnt have Rear Wash/Wipe so nice clean back end!!) and has the original dealer number plates too.

I've also fitted GM/Opel Dealer Style Mudflaps at the front to stop the sides getting filthy.

With the Xe in, it'd be a proper sleeper!!

flangy, the pics are a month old so the mudflaps werent on it at the time. I said the original bits were with it, not fitted to it, so yes it has got 14" gte wheels but the 13" ones are supplied. I have a set of the anthracite/silver sr steels (14") if prefered.

As I said I'll put fresh piccys up tomorrow of how it is now, showing underbonnet and interior.

pics of drivers inner wing? looks suspect on that bottom pic? well hidden by the bonnet stay

Nothing trying to be hidden, just a bit of surface rust where paint is missing.Its totally solid metal!!

I could rub it down and flash it in if i wanted to hide it, or used a wider bonnet stay!

There's a couple of lumps of original waxoyl on there too.

Change of heart guys, I've decided to keep my nova and put the xe in myself.

Its too good to sell (besides the 'rotten' inner wing :roll: ,yeah right) and i would probably regretted it a week later!!!

I have seen it a couple of times running round town, and had to take a second look;) early nova's are certainly becoming a rare machine!

Looks superb, maybe see it in the flesh so to speak some time!

Yeah mate, its absolutely full of old fag packets and double sided tape. I think i did quite well hiding it all behind a 1cm thick bonnet stay!!! ;)

How could I hide anything behind something so thin as a bonnet stay!!, honestly man, if you or your mate saw the car in the flesh you'd be bowled over!

Even people who know nothing about nova's or cars in general are astonished by it

I've ordered the strengthening kit for the car so once all that is in place the inner wings will be getting blasted and repainted
