Hi there
Do you have to move any of the engine mounts on a 1.0 nova to get an XE in there??
I'd heard that the front corner mount has to be cut and moved an inch forward, but thought I'd check with the experts first!!

as above. you can buy it from chris astley by clicking on the link at the top and browsing his site.only cut it and move it i believe if you are using astra mounts?

The only difference with 1.0 mounts are the bracket that goes from rubber to engine, but you dont use this part anyway so is inconsequencial to the conversion.

you can cut the osf mount off and move it down but then your still gonna need the gearbox spacer .
well if you and cut off and weld the mount lower, im sure you'd be able to knock up a spacer lol

true i do have some thick spacers that i picked up from a machine shop that seem to do the job ?
and last time i cut and welded the front mount i was usin an f13 box so didnt need it !
