Just a few pics and a video from yesterday.

Group of us went over and all in all was an excellent day!

Things started of rather wet which wasnt much fun but it soon dryed up and could give it full chat in the nova. Car didnt miss a beat for a change altho i was only running a standerd xe on tb's.

How come your only on a stock XE with TB's? Is the proper engine still undergoing repairs?

Well had some serious issues with the new engine!!

Went bang for the 2nd time a few weeks back, suspect somethings not right with the head so its being loked into at the moment.

Do not worry it WILL be back running the power it should be :)

Car handles much better with the new tie bars (had them re-done for the 2nd time as well!)

Going to sort the tyres out too as they were pretty poo (a359s)

Really enjoyed being able to drive it hard at last so relit my passion for it again... just have to explain that to the wife now lol

So your still running Lee's tie bars? I really want a set but he has not mentioned them for a while. I guess he is trying to iron out the faults with them then he will offer them for sale again.

Hope the damage was not 2 bad on your engine?

jon has had the tie bars altered again, not sure how much is left of lee's design. From what i gather not alot.

As for the engine... this time i think the head will be in the bin along with the pistons depending how bad the damage is. Also going to be changing from the 450 cams to something a bit softer so it makes the power further down the revs rather than 8700!

Between what months mate? It would have to be once the cows are back out in the fields as they are currently taking up useful car storage space in the sheds..lol From about march/april onwards should be ok if you needed to.
