why do you feel you need "better" injectors?

Theres no such thing as "uprated" injectors.

You wont go far wrong with the std BERU leads tbh, as long as there in good condition

As above.
The original equipment leads are very good.
But they cost a lot too.

the blue xe injectors flow more an then so do the turbo ones, but that doesnt mean fitting them is going to give a power increase.

can get a set of vxr injectors (dunno if they fit?) for ?60 but like phil said no extra power, unless you are running a tuned engine. fitted with an adequate fuel pump and increase the fuel pressure you'll probably notice crisper throttle response though, but very little bhp on a standard motor. if you are gonna fit different injectors try and get a set with a 4 way spray (4 holes, red turbo ones, some v6's etc.) rather than 2 way.

wahoo steady on there i run VXR injectors in mine lol, they would be seriously over kill on a LET never mind an XE. They fow about 3 times the standard injectorss.

To do what you said above you would need to lower the fuel pressure to about 1 bar lol

VXR injectors are even too large for a ph2/evo5 let.
As Phil said you'd have to drop the fuel pressure mega low to get the amount of fuel down, and at such a low pressure you would get bad atomization from the injector(due to less "force" in the rail)

any recommendations on were to get a good set of leads? and the advice is to stick with the standard injectors?

i wasnt sure about the vxr ones (hence the ?) but know of a few running 4way injectors out of v6 with light engine work and make a bit of a difference, nothing amazing but every little helps. if you dont plan on fitting cams etc. i'd leave it alone tho, get better gains from a decent exhaust system.
