I think the cheapest thing is probably to clean and polish it to death, or get it all dirty. MMMMM I love a filthy Nova lol
Show us a pic of your Nova (when you have enough posts) and we can give you some ideas...

If i was you look throught the features and see what colours people have doneto there's and if any take your fancy. And you also get to see loads of different styles to see what's best for you taste. But i would say just gte/gsi skirts, maybe spoiler but looks ok without them and a nice simple spray job

Think i'm going to paint mine or my next shell in an Ivory White. Mini Pepper White is a good one..

A very classical/retro colour ! And look great with almost any hint of colour and grey bumpers !

Yellow would certainly stand out. If you're going for a respray and want it to stand out it's a good opportunity to pick an unusual colour, no?

Yeah, but I have a 1 track mind- Retro all the way lol so naturally when you say yellow, I think Jamaica yellow. But it's mk2, and could pull off (;)) a brighter shade quite well. Orange stands out too... Just a bit mad :O

May I suggest Sulphur Yellow - RAL1016. That is very very bright!
(aka Ambulance Yellow)

But yes - Polar White - for retro.

C612DNM seem to remember that reg number from the old PNG mags. So is the sport any closer to returning to the roads/track, didnt you have another aswell?

Hmm, yellow wouldn't work all that well on a Mk2 IMO.

Do a mans colour, do it red. Of the Mexican variety :D

go buy a mixed bag of nuts and some superglue and stick them to the outside of the car. It will make your nova stand out, be different and cheap.

I say satin finish in light baby blue!

Not seen that before, and you don't have to worry about getting it to shine!

Yes it's me! The sport - well it's in a sad state. When I get around to 15 posts, you'll all see some proper Nova pics!!

The Sport evolved into a GTE, then after a slight misnomer at Mallory, to a GSi. That had "three" incarnations, and is currently dissolving in my yard, just waiting for some time & space to finish it off "properly".

I have most of the Sport (C612DNM), and intend rebuilding it back to a Polar White aboriginal sport at some stage.

These days my other two beasties take precedence. A slightly "non-original" Belmont, and something a little different, but just as wild!

Put mk1 bumpers on it with a wrap around mk1 rear spoiler. That'd be unusual in the sea of mk2 facelifts.
