Whats it worth???

I know of an L reg Nova GSi that i was thinking about,the owner is unable to put a figure on it as the car is worth more centimentaly,it underwent a full resto consisting of all genuine vauxhall wings and doors,i know the fact that it has seen paint and been restored will effect its value,but the car is like new.Just thought id post on here to get a third party view on what it may be worth:)

I know what you mean the plate would'nt mean much to me either,its just that its that extra bit rarer!but the car is stunning and the plate just tops it off.

also remember just because a nova looks solid on the outside it could be a dog underneath. you need to give it a proper check over, go through the history and then talk money. and as always its only worth what your willing to pay for it. and if the bloke has given it a full resto it will owe him alot of money, so i imagine it wont be going cheap!

Buy a car thats not had a shead load of work done to it, as to me it sounds as if it was a nasty rusty L plate thats had money chucked at it to make the outside look better, and i know first hand that novas can hid rot very very well!

I know all too well,it would'nt bother me if it were on a q plate as long as its solid,its not cheap,thats why im just seeking some thoughts first,im going to have a good think about it,thanks for the advice.:thumb:
