Some people just slot the bars coming out the headrest down the gap between the rear seats and shelf.

that is plan b lol......
i am hoping its poss to add the actual rest`s bar holders aswell but unsure if id be able too without dismantling the seat ??
you first need 2 sets of headrest clips (4 alltogether), these can be obtained from any nova corsa cavalier etc, but are a bugger to get out lol, then if you have a pokery on the top of the seat you should feel 2 little dips per side, simply make a hole in the dips in the fabric and put the clips down there, i think iirc they should click into place, then slot the headrest in :thumb:

great stuff so the seats basically have the cavity for the clips etc purely a fit them job done then ...
thanks :thumb: 1 less thing to think about now ..lol

Not wise really, if you were to crash the car the last thing you'd want is one of those poking you in the head (the metal spurs could do you some damage).

I havn't done that but i know people who have lol
Personally i like how the top of the rear seats are virtually level with the shelf:p

Not a good idea really.
I think the headrest guides you need are belmont guides.
Vauxhall should still stock them.
If your gonna do a job do it properly ;)

One thing I never understood is why Vauxhall/Opel put the holes in a place where the headrests would not line up with the centre material sections on each sides!?!
you got them fitted then.lol. got any pics?

Mines are fitted correctly lol as they should be
But because they dont sit in line with the pattern it looks balls
Didnt GSi interiors have rear headrests as standard? Mine has got rear headrests!
I didn't bother with fitting the guides as I wanted the headrests flush with the rear seat.

Nope, pretty sure they didn't... wouldn't have thought they'd be an optional extra either...
Oh! well in that case.....who wants to buy the rear bench out of my GSi complete with headrests!? as its soon to be stripped! :D

They didn't come with them as standard, no Nova had them
Nice wee touch in the back though, looks proper IMO
I have them in mine.
And yep, fit them properly, i wouldn't want headrests flying about.
Cant remember which guides i used.
