think i'v sold my unfinished project for ?850
and the money will be going into my 2.0 8v engine
some ideas what to buy and what would gain more bhp per ?
and im not gonna go buy new stuff do'nt see the point
any ideas???

If you have to 8 valve it - best mod is a recondition, some bottom end work and 50bhp NOS.. You should easily get it done for ?850..

?850 would buy and recondition an XE... then buy the fittings and pay for the body-upgrade/work ..

?850 would see a 2nd hand WON nitrous kit with controller and a good fill of happy gas.

that is the BEST bhp/? mod you can get (in the short term lol)

Add to that a big valve head & tubular manifold to get the gases out nicely.

Maybe take Stu's usual advice & have the inlet plenum 'fluid honed' to open that out too. Source a larger TB from a Carlton or similar.
