not that hard. you will need the engine, box, different engine mount (not sure which one)..
you will also need gte fuel tank. also the ecu, igntion setup etc from the gte!:thumb:
As long as you take the same mounts out of the GTE it all mounts up the same, nothing is changed on the 1.0 shell to mount the engine itself....the drivers side mount is different on the engine.
Tank, pump, lines, and everything from the engine. Shafts won't fit need GTE shafts too...
Brakes
How do you intend insuring it?
Fitting the engine is straight forward.
Im sure Riggy and the nw mincer lads would give you a hand.
Tho 1.6 for a first car is a bit much imo
need GTE shafts too
Any shafts but 1.0 items :thumb: im presently using SR items in mine
oh really?
didn't know that, fair
the only difficult bit is the wiring, the strange looking clear covered wire to the coil must get traced back to the ign barrel & replaced with a normal wire. this is then used for the ign. live to the injection.
ps. mine has 1.0 driveshafts & they fitted fine into the f13 box please explain what is wrong with them
Dave, that will mean your car has had an engine conversion, so you may as well bend over and lube up your ring when its time to insure it.
Just look at the stress Novatool is going through on a standardish 1.2!
Take the damn thing to bits and give it a nut and bolt rebuild if you badly need to do something else to it!

nothing wrong with 1ltr one's, they work the same, and are no different than sr one's
