Body work help

When putting a body kit on a car does it matter if there is any rust on any of the original body work?. Are there any vital parts where there should be no rust?. Can little bitsbe rub out before putting on a body kit?.

Anyone with any answers please post them. Thanx 8)

make sure all the surface rust is rubbed down and treated.... if anyoff the area where the kit will be fastening to is rusted through then think again or its alot of work to do it properly....

check out the "lengthy" post I put up for DEES NOVA on this forum. All rust is evil! :evil: and must be treated properly - dont rush treating it - if u do be prepared for holes.

And dont put body kits over rust - it wont go away because you do - take time preparing the area 1st that way yer kit wont drop off when the metal gets too thin with rust! :D
