would a 1400 cc head fit a 1200 block ??

sorry if a stupid question but had to ask ..lol


also would a 4 speed linkage (bit mounted between end of gear lever rod and the selector box on top of box ) fit and work on a 5 speed box ??

yes it would but it would lower the compression ratio
