Anyone know where to get some??

Ive looked through ebay, most of there stuff is pipe lagging, and then the other stuff is mega expensive for what it is, also i wanted to get some covers for it too,as like Dar has on his.

Cheers for any replies.

i would just use pipe lagging for the padding as it just slots over and is available from any builders merchants

just use pipe lagging then staple some cloth round it or sumit to make your own cover

Yeah but it's very thin mate, and the proper padding is made with a hole thats offset so you get maximum protection the side facing you.

use carpet spray to stick the material down but pipe lagging has various internal bores and there is prob one that will fit your cage. use cable ties to hold the lagging in place then use the spray adhesive to fix the material. :)

Demon Theives charge ?11.25 +vat for half a meter of padding..... and only looks marginally thicker than lagging lol.

you only need 2 bits really for the top of the cage by the doors, just to stop yer skid lid getting mullered

Lagging is good for its price but TBH it does fall to bits pretty easy really. Ive seen many a rally car with bits of lagging hanging off lol

Proper cage padding is expensive yes, but its a harder density foam, which is a bonus :D

Scott - Peter Lloyd Rallying is your cheapest option, you'll need 3 metres of it to do 2x door bars, ankle pads and 2x head pieces.

Think he charges ?5 per 3ft (or 1metre) secton.

Thats where I got mine from :)

Mines the proper stuff from Demon Tweeks. The covers are just a length of cloth with the hooks part of velcro sowen in to it. Should be easy to make if you can find the material.

Finding the right material will mean a trip to a fabric shop. You WILL feel out of placelol
