if the multimap red dot is where it is at, then you were on one of wright's farm tracks, did you get permission or just wing it? all the land round there is crown land. somewhere in gopsall wood the tracks were used as a rally stage some years back but I don't know what the access rights are like

i just winged it due to a big sign saying public right of way :)

and looking on the OS map, it says its open to all public traffic!

i will try it on boxing day. the hunt will be heading out that way from mkt bosworth. not that we want to catch a fox & horribly kill it, it is just a good excuse to thrash round the countryside & meet up with loads of locals trying to get up odd lanes to watch them fall off their horses

i normally drag loaded ifor williams trailers across ploughed fields for fun. I won't need the winch. My truck has the diff lock option. it never gets stuck.

they are building a golf course in mkt bosworth. I've been sorting out a new building there. the roadways are badly rutted by 8 wheelers & moxy dumpers & there are puddles deep enough to lose people in. i hit a bump today & it caused the drivers side window to jump out of its runner....whoops .... it is an 07 reg, it hasn't even had its first service

I use to go out green laneing with a mate in his sj413. It towed out many a land rover in it's time.
Another freind took a mate's hilux and rolled it in a bowl then drove it back to swindon with the roof caved in lol.

I can't for the life of me think where that could be, and I spent a fair bit of time driving round there.
