1st things first was to get it home , clean out tidy it up rust wasn't too bad on it , the rear arches where a bit scabby and the sill well the bit of it which all the S**t of the day of the back wheels catches in , battery tray was amazing and the boot floor outstanding , soo when i got her home i t-cutted the whole thing and to find it came up a lovely rich red colour AKA flame red , 2nd step was get the ghey blue stripe of the bumpers and replace it with a red one , change the alloys over to the mk3 astra ones which are ment to be pretty rare as they where an optional extra , next thing on my list was to take off the expression badges which left a load of crap behind so out came the turps and rubbed it off t-cutted round where the badge was so it tied in with the rest of the car .

progress starts , I have always been fond of the gsi looks so i had my mind made up it was going that way , i took a trip from Lisburn in County Antrim , to ballymoney witch is waaaaaaaaaaay up north a pretty good drive to get , gsi skirts spoiler and steering wheel and badges and few other bits like the red swithes for heater etc and the guy only wanted 110 pounds fot the lot so bargain , including the price of diesel as the caddy is a company van and its free lol anyways piks .

was happy with the steering wheel and gear knobb and twisty switches changed on the inside for the mean time , the oustide is the part everyone is going to see so i got stuck in with the gsi spoiler , used the guide off here and it was perfect it came to the stage where i had marked the boot lid up got my trusty de-walt out and about to drill when i picked up the measuring tape and checked it again , well multiply that by 3 , its not a nice feeling when you are about to drill into a prefectly good boot lol piks ... thats it for today folks COMMENTS welcome !
