View Full Version : First parts delivery from Germany a success

After a very cold meet today I can safely say the first(Hopefully of many) parts delivery from Germany expertly organised by Steve(Duick) and Arne was a great success.
He brought over a total of 10,000 Euros worth of parts, all of which were collected and gone to good homes.
We had people come to Derby from as far away as Ireland and Scotland to collect parts:eek:

Who went over from Ireland?

Not sure, they came for mk1 Astra/Kadett D parts.

Graeme(Sport on here I think) came all the way from Scotland!

yeah that was me in the 306, i was gonna wash it before i set off but everything was frozen up at mine, glad i never washed it in a way as the spray of salt etc coming off the wagons was horrendous on the way down! lol

at least its put a face to the name now

And yep, the roads were bad. I ran out of screenwash on the way back, so had to make do with looking through a screen covered in crap,Lol.

Luckily i only had a short drive tho

Just got back at home 1 hour ago.
Really tired now but I'm glad everything went that perfect

A big THX :thumb: to Rich (Nova.Sport) to organise the place and let us stay at his house, and thx to all other PNG members we met in Derby
Was GREAT to finally meet a few of the PNG members.

Sorry, did not take a picture of the trailer full aswell.
There was a serious amount of quality parts brought over, some of which are now sat in my garage.
Typical, cleared the garage so I could work on the the Sport now I cannot move again cos of all the bits I've boughtlol

Well chuffed with the parts i got, bit gutted one of my rear quarters got damaged though :( Sods law its the side i really need aswell lol Hopefully Steve and Arne can get one shipped over asap :thumb:

I am sure they will sort you out as soon as they can.
Its just one of those things, they did not do too bad as I think that was the only damage out of everything they delivered.
I think the damage was done before they got it aswell.

Oh mind you the new 3 door bodyshell apparently got damaged aswell and they could not get it in the trailer, thats why they didnt bring it but they have another on order for me for next year:roll: ;) lol

Yeh damage was done before they left, but couldnt get another in time. Unfortunate, but these things happen im afraid! And they couldnt of been more apologetic!

It was ridiculously dirty on the roads, on my way home my headlights were useless as they were covered in that much cr@p! I did remember to fill my washer bottle up before I set off though lol :p
