i never realised it was a problem what the logbook said aslong as it's all safe and mot'able. <<<is that even a word?lol

i think the main problem is now, i think its all about to be linked to the DVLA, so it might get flaged up or something, or i might be talking bull****e :thumb:

On ym last MOT (electronic now, not hand written), engine size was on it, I think engine number was too but without checking I couldnt be sure.

Get it registered, taxed and insured properly.

How are you insuring this? How much tax are you paying?

You may aswell save your money paying any insurance at all if its not declared!

1700 for a 1.2? you got points or a ban? your asking for trouble if you insure it as a 1.2. as said before just wait untill you can afford it.

Don't buy the car if you can't afford to run it/insure it as a 2.0! Fool!

Every mot station will open the bonnet!

Theres a reason why they'd laugh at you, and why every first driver has a 1L/1.2.

This is how it will work out,

(18yr chav+2.0l Nova)x Y= Hospital

That there was one of them simitaneous equations, Y can equal whatever you see fit, wall, tree, lampost, kerb really anything.

The engine size and the log book dont matter for the MOT.
We tested my mates XE Corsa that was a GSI on logbook, rang VOSA and they said the only change we had to make was to test the emissions according to whatever the engine was out of.
