bout to buy a redtop an theres a problem with it, the engine is suckin in air with the fuel, what is this problem an is it easy to fix?
Be a bit more specific, that sounds about right to me!

just had the chap on the phone an he said it sounds like the engine surges, i aint got a clue what he is on about must be a southern thing lol (no offence to anyone love the southern slang lol)

surges... sounds like it could be afm or blockage/starved of fuel/air

Surges (idles bad/hunting)? could be holes in the inlet tract after the AFM??
Maybe the gasket under the SFI box is leaking.
Air in the fuel is odd unless a hose is perished but that would leak I'd have thought.
