hi guys i was wondering if any one had any info on this subject as i heard they were pretty hit or miss but just intriged, hope someone can help?:)

never heard of of a 1.3t, i just sold my 1.6 turbo...

no they were very early, 1.6 was a good conversion but it was injection? the early 1.3 where carbed as they were mostly sr's but did do a couple of sports as the webers could be rejetted as aposed to the peiburg also the sports airbox was cast so could be sealed>

Can be done using the irmscher injection system as found on the Irmscher Spider. Just so happens i have an irmscher injection system for a 1.3 nova lol

Im sure either John A or Johny A on mig had one, it was a grey mk1 sr, with irmscher injection system and a turbo strapped on it. :cool:

im more intrested in the carbed version, i chatted to mr shield about the turbo conversion over a few beers at belguim in 2000 but i have forgotten a lot since then.

if you use programable engine management you could use a gsi/gte inlet manifold.

IIRC they were 7 SR-T conversions done, all of which ended up being brought back with reliability issues.

Lad near turbo'd a Jamaica Yellow mk1 SR years ago using a Metro turbo carb & T3 turbo.
