hi all, i am new to this site, after getting my sister a little project nova sr.

(83k 1 disabled lady owner from new, full vaux service history and all old mots, and best of all, completly boggo. :))

paid 55 earth pounds for it with no mot or tax :(

basically i wanted to know how rare was the red interior in the sr's

and what tyres did the novas come with from the factory as it has a very old (and very bald and very bulgy) looking spare tyre...a michilin mxl?

They did have MXL's as originals mate, does it have them all round?

no, not all round just the spare, and its bald and covered in bulges...shame.

yeah, i will start a project thread as soon as i can.

the pics i have are not promising, its pretty rotten from the rub strips down (doors mainly) sills and rear arches are good, but the black paint is spotless, hardly a mark on it, couldnt belive it when i polished her up.

hi, thanks for the welcome, ive been told that the red interior is quite rare in theblack sr's. just wanted to know if it was a myth or not.

mike they were red in red and black cars, blue in blue and white cars iirc. It's not that rare tbh.

You could also get a black SR with a blue interior, I think it was the later ones that had it. If anything a black/blue combination would be rarer I'd say.

my mate had a black sr on a j plate with a blue interior.

id say a nice black sr is rare on its own these days.

Late J reg and K reg BLACK SRs came with the blue and grey interior iirc.
