I have recently aquired a pair of GTE bumpers that have been painted red, I want to paint them dark grey or satin black. They weren't smoothed before painting last time, and I don't want to smooth them this time.
Can I give them a once-over with 500 grit paper, degrease them, then primer and paint?
As long as they're grey/black instead of red, I don't mind if they look a bit rough and ready lol.
