1.4 sr

hi lads iv got a 1.4 sr completely standard. i want to make it a little more pokey though coz iv seen some realy quik 1.4 going bout and they look flat out. any advice plz

Little more pokey: 1300 head and inlet manifold, weber 32/34 DTML carb, adapter plate, 275/285 degree cam, decent exhaust manifold and system, and get the carb and ignition timing set up at a reputable rolling road. Probably see circa 100bhp.

or for much less cash, fit a C16SE 1.6 8 valve MPI engine, same power.
