how much harder is it than the mk2 any pics would be great do you have to cut dashboard
searched but couldnt find much for mk1
iirc it is harder to do then the mk2.

you have to fix it in from underneath, making it a right pain in the **** to fit

Ive got a guide that explains how u fit a Digi into a mk1 using a cavalier surround. Pm ur addy and ill send it too ya!. i think thats the best way. if not then do wat i did! Fit a mk2 dash!

John Walsh did it to his Nova years ago. Think it was put in Max Power.
I remember it needed bits of plastic bonding in to support the clockset. (think JW used a cassette tape case....)

i shall be doing this soon.. i will cover it in my project thread, but wont be until in the new year, lol.. I think im gonna attach the instument panel using 3 brackets to the bulkhead then offer the dash (modified) over the panel..
we see, im jus spittin..

..oh and bigstan has done it cutting and using a different surround.. with a little perfection his method does work..
