Harmless fun? I don't care if the want to do it on an industrial estate or somewhere else which is deserted (except for the other people- who have chosen to be there) but the ****ers on the roads are another story all together. See what happened to that fella who go knocked over and dragged down the road 'cos that thoughtless **** was driving on the wrong side?

i know what your saying, most of the time though its outa harms way at night on quite roads.
way to much attention is placed on 'boy racers' from police etc when theres other more serious crimes being commited

any type of bad driver could crash into my car and kill my friend though. There is a difference between some one who's not a good driver, and some one is a BAD driver who thinks there Nigel Manselll racing around on built up public roads, and if your one of them then good luck!

I know what you all mean. dont know if you can remember last year the blue nova that killed the two girls down my way. and one i knew. makes me feel sick and he ran away and left the girls in the road. why cant people just grow up and see what they can do if they lose control.

scott.parker

Is that the one he stole and then split it in half, if so i think i saw the pictures of it..

Worst of is people who do these sort of thing get away with a slapped wrist and 120hrs pulling up weeds!
I think they should be made to confront the relatives and family's of who they killed and see what harm they caused.

i remember the stripped out blue nova story, that really was bad.

A girl locally got smeared along an a road when she was in a puma that was drag racing on a 2 mile straight..... the other car was not found, but the puma suddenly shot off the road & hit a lamp post. she was 17 & had just passed her theory test. a rumour has it that she was driving the puma. either way it was a waste of life

"had six other people in his car"

:wtf::wtf::wtf:

Fair do's, theres been some bad crash fatals, doesn't say they've all been caused by speed tho. Its always one thing that people assume when a young driver is involved.
And yeah, illegal racing does go on all the time, but its not like it never did in the past. People just had nothing record it on/anyway of making it public before mobile phones/the internet.
Programmes like the one on tonight have just been made due to the police realising what does goes on, due to YouTube vids etc.

Its just like the police say "Crime rates ARE on the decline"
Thats only because no ba**id bothers to report it lol

My dad nails these type of people into boxes on a weekly basis as he works at an undertakers.

He reckons the authorities should make these lads dig the graves.

Yeah thats what the program was trying to target! lads who don't stop to think about how they drive or where, and whether they put anyone els but them selves in dange...

Fook I'll put my hand up i have been to (NOT TAKEN PART) illegal street racing meets when i was 18-19 in brum, and after seeing some of them crash ,not small crashes, and allot of car jacking went on by "Gangsters" etc i decided very wisely to not hang around with the people i was as i could see it was not me,and would lead to something i wasn't interested being part of..

yeah ive been to a few round here, not something i wanted to be a part of either as i imagined it being a natural progression from the old skool cruises, i imagied everyone was there for a bit of banter etc not kicking funk out someone whos just beat you up a desserted piece of road

^ you two clearly come from a different part of the uk from me by the sounds of it lol

ive been to street race meets and they where a good laugh, no one got hurt as it was out of harms way and anyone there was there because they wanted to be so cant complain it something happened to them.
