right i meet this lad the other day, his names liam and we got talking about his car and he wants to sell it in the new year same time as i want to buy a track project car and start doing track days and he wants me to buy his gsi of him for ?2000. basically i wanted to know as much details as anybodys got of this car who did the convertion and caged it and the lot.

as far as i know its a gsi, fully striped and caged interior wiith a x16xe lump in it. :confused::confused::confused:

yer on dblias (sp) is there a project thread? or anyways i can find out some details? il look throught the projects but i dont fancy searching allll night. also LLTN what do you think of it? any good for the track? would give me somethink to do over the summer, and keep me out of trouble.

ahhh im not a member on mig! i think this may be the time to register. i really want this car lol the only thing liam said was wrong was ****e coming out of the oil tank breather?? somethink like that. how hard is it to get into track days?

The engine was brand new re-con from Vauxhall too.

Rob doesnt do things by half

if its the one he built it'll be well worth the ?2k asking price, im sure he had it for sae for ?3600 not long ago

im seriously thinking about this now ?2000 for a car that is ready to race!! and my mate owns a motorbike shop so a helmet or two would be no problem. he said it was running around 137bhp i carnt wait lol

just got off the phone to the lad and its just had a new centre section of exhaust and it will in jan have a years mot and 6 months tax bargin or what and i think ill be able to hagle him down to lol

Get an old recovery truck :thumb:. Don't believe the bull about MOT exemption though.

Some people claim that certain old recovery trucks are MOT exempt, in 99.9% of cases though its BS.

i was thinking of a rental van with a tow hook and just buy a trailor as i have no room for a old recovery truck lol does any body know if i could rent a van and use it to tow my trailor+car?
