imho 2.0 16v cav brakes are fine with good pads and std discs.

you could also fit the v6 brakes, but the discs would have to be re-drilled as they a 5stud as standerd, but there are companys that sell the same discs in 4stud, also a bigger master cylinder help i'v herd..

thanks guys ...the vec 288 mm re drilled to suit is my plan at this time ...
unsure as to caliper mounting though ??

when you say a bigger master cylinder is there an ideal part most use??

All nova MC's are the same.
Only the gte/gsi/sri servo is bigger, which doesn't help with braking power.

fiat coupe turbo discs are 288ish mm and 4 stud (they just need the bolt holes opeinng up a tin bit as they are pcd 4*98mm rather than 4*100)

and FFS stop bolding it up!

If your going V6 brake set up, you need a min of 15" wheels, and highly advisable is the 22mm astra m/c coupled with astra servo. 2.0 brakes you need a min of 14" wheels and no real need to change further parts.
