Hello All,
Will a 1.4 Nova Clutch Cable fit my 1.0?
If so is it a simple job?
If not, where is the best place to get a new one?
Regards,
Shane

If anyone can help, please PM me asap.
Thanks in advance.
The 1.4 cable will fit, but the 1.0 cable has a heat protective shield on it where it runs near the manifold. (on the rear on a 1.0). I'd advise the 1.4 cable only be fitted as a temporary measure. Yeah easy diy job, about 15 mins.

Yeah i will only need it for a day as vauxhall by me have a spare 1.0 cable for a nova... :S
?21... buts its worth it, cant be bothered with all the hassle.
Will the 1.4 cable be long enough?
Also will it rub the manifold?
(Sorry havent had a chance to change it yet)

The clutch cables are all the same apart from the fact that the 1.0 ones have the heat shield on. Wrap the 1.4 one in foil/aluminium tape.

Hmmm nice suggestion.
So I probably wont even need to waste money buying a new one?
Will it be touching the manifold?

Does the current one touch the manifold? The gearboxes all fit in the same place, and have the clutch "arm" in the same place.
