oppinions please.

At the mo i have a very good condition mrk2 nova life in my lockup.
The thing is it was going to be done up for the other half to learn to drive in.The only problem is that the engine was being an **** so took it out and fitted a 1.2 from Lee.
This would of been fine then the chance of a GTE came up so i bought it and robbed all the bits for a 1.6 conversion.Thus makeing it unable for her to learn in.
At the moment it is sat in my lockup gathering dust with all the parts to make it into a gte powered life.
The only problem is dew to work at the mo i cant be ****d to go sort it all out so was wondering wether it would be better to sell as a unfinnished prodject or get my **** in gear and build it up then sell on.

it has Gmax suspention which is only a few months old.Gsi side skirts/spoiler gsi glass with surrounds gsi front and rear bumpers.
It also has solid arches front and rear.
Just wondered what it mite be worth as a full prodject to some one or a doner shell for a track car as has no sunroof.

Mate i say put the 1.6 8v in, add some vinyl to the pillars and boot then sell as a very good condition GSi rep, im sure you would get more for it that way,no?

well i got a few hrs free yesterday so got me **** out of bed and got on with the nova.
I only took 1 pic as was there on my own in the cold and just wanted to get as much done as possible.
So here goes.
Engine is in drive shafts in bottom arms and most the plumbing.
Not bad for a few hrs work but got to cold so came home bbbrrrrrr.

Before it went in a fitted new stat/water pump and cambelt.
Ive also got the mrk2 sr clocks (cheers Craig) to go back in but aint got round to it.
Not long till it will be in the for sale section but i will get it running and mot'ed first.

glad to see it making progress and not goin to the track. i say keep her after you get it done or if not possible then sell it. id be selective who i sold it to though, you dont want to see it getting wrecked

Agree. I'd have sold the shell/complete car to a member in need of something for a project base.

I dont realy want to sell it (once done) but needs must and ive got no real use for it.If i keep it it will only end up being stripped then tracked which would be a shame.If a new owner wants to do that then it would be up to them.Ive had alot of interest in it and it isnt even up for sale yet which is good so i will get on with it and see what happens once all sorted.
