I bought a psx kit for the nova on sat - but on sun I get a second chance offer on an rsx kit I bidded on from ebay..... sods law.

Can anybody shed any light on how much better the rsx kit is over the psx? Im not particularly fussed about the ride height adjustment aspect of it - but are the rsx coilovers significantly better than the psx jobbies?

THe main bonus of the RSXs is the fact they are ride height adjustable, so if your only after adjustable shocks then the PSX kit should suit you.

The other bonus that the RSX should offer is the possibility replaceing the springs with generic 2.25" versions giving you relatively cheap options should you wish to increase/reduce the poundage of the springs. However I did hear that the RSX springs are an odd size/shape meaning you cant use standard 2.25 inch springs. So if this is of interest then might be worth making further enquiries first.

Out of interest what price did you pay/were offered for each of the sets?

psx retails new at around ?350
rsx at around ?500..
rsx is a proper coilover setup at the front - 50 to 80mm height adjustment, but only a fixed height, pigtail/shocker setup at the back.
So technically only the front is different between the two kits..
