I can only assume he means steering that reaches full lock with a 1/4 turn of the wheel, like in a go kart.

I can also assume that if he accomplishes this, he'll crash as soon as he tries to reach 70mph on a public road.

its heavy enough to steer a 1/4 lock in a kart with tiny wheels, so on a full size car would be an utter whore to try and manouver.

True, but I put part of it in the kart down to the tiny steering wheel aswell. EPAS would be a must.

Jesus, the slightest movement at a high speed would result in dramatic results!

How exactly does having a quarter turn steering lock make it 'sick' round corners?

to make any car do a quarter turn full lock, simply turn the wheel to the right a quarter of a turn & fit a jubilee clip right tight on the inner part of the rack next to the casing. repeat this for the left.

this will give the desired effect........

a quick rack usually has about 2.5 turns lock to lock. my old moggie minor pickup has this as standard & the steering is ace, but it has raleigh grifter size tyres on the front. a renault 5 with fandango tyres would need the arms of popeye to turn it.....
