tyre sizes

Hi does anybody know what the largest size rims i can put on my nova 1.4 gls . I currently hav 17s on it and there is no rubbing but i havent taken it out yet.

I've seen 21/22" wheels on a Nova, but that was with massive modification and extremely impractical - it had a huge turning circle!
