Head gasket thickness

Evening all does anybody know the thickness of a standard head gasket for a 1600 16v engine.

all the compressed 1300 ones I have measured have been 1.2mm.

so you're saying they get thicker when compressed? :wtf:

I have gen vaux 1600 head gasket in a packet in the garage, will find some batteries for the vernier and measure it.

Right, it's a new 3 notch 1600 8v Gen Vaux headgasket. The gasket is 1.25mm, the rings are 1.37mm
