finding out what kind coilovers are?

i might be buying front coilovers for my nova and i am wondering where to look for a name or part number?

any ideas? wanting to know what make they are..

they also have alloy spherical top mounts, the alloy mount moves about quite a bit but is this normal? they are not on a car though so dont now if they are supposed to do this.

They should swivel in the mount, but not move, ie have no play.
If they dont have the make and model printed on them, then theres a slight chance someone would know from a picture, otherwise its impossible to tell.
