sri to gte/gsi

have a k plate sri and want to put a gsi or gte engine in.what will i need for this?easy or complicated cheers

If you fit a C16SE engine in place of your C14SE engine then you dont need much more than the engine and ECU.

not necessarly. if your sri has a distributer, youll need to change the whole loom and ecu aswell, as the ecu will plug in the wires for the coil and distrib are totally different! but if your sri has a coil pack(black plastic box instead of a distrib) you can just change the ecu and your enigne loom as the same! as long as you get a c16se engine and loom. these are late engines with no airflow meter, and have a map sensor.
