I will be getting my AX wiper motor, arm etc tomorrow to do a single wiper conversion, but has anybody got any sort of guide as how to do it? Or at least any pics of it been done?

Also now i can get rid of the bulk head fire wall thingy ive been thinking about chopping it out, therefore being able to lift the back of the bonnet to create better flow etc like on my other thread, anyway, any pics of this too, just so i get some idea?

i was going to do this, unsure though, any idea if you can set the wiper to the passenger side where the original one would be?

remove the actual motor from your Nova mechanism, and it bolts directly to the AX linkage, then all you have to do is extend the original wires - simple!

even the bolt holes are in exactly the same position on both linkages! lol

I got a rough idea what your on about, but, any pics?!:D

what i mean is, could the off position be set so it runs flush with the bottom of the windscreen?

Probably, just turn the arm on the splines but this will effect where it sweeps on the drivers side. Ill do a mini w.i.p quide thing if you like to give you an idea:thumb:

Well i got it in and working, easy really a lot cheaper than a propper kit, in total mine cost me 8 quid, beats the 60-100 i think. Ill get some pics up for you Dave but i didnt do a guide as the weathers been sh*t and i just wanted to get it done, personally i would recomend it as a friend of mine has the expensive one and has had nothing but trouble, where as it took me about 2 hours and it works perfect, all i need now is a straight blade.

Pics to follow tomorrow:)
