Has anybody heard the rumour about the ring clamping down on modified car using the circuit? Checking for TUV approved parts etc? Could be a bit of a bugger for us!

Sounds silly to me, I would expect vast amount of the cars that use the track are modified

I thought a ring clamp down was something else all together.

Sounds like it could be a pain in the ar$e for foreign cars. I keep EVERY piece of paper that comes with the parts for my car and don't have paper work for a fair few of the modifications. For the ring hardcore I should imagine that a Vollabnahme test would be the safest bet.

I think its mainly to stop the german racers taking their race cars on track with swiss etc plates on...If they stop UK cars going over then there will be a massive loss of money to the ring, the hoe-tels, bars, restaurants, ferries etc
