I went to Colerene airfield yesterday for a track day which was a birthday present to myself. I took the mrs as well with the intention of getting her in the car seeing what its all about and for her to have ago.

Had a fab day, although it was a bit cold but it did stay dry all day.

Booked it through www.motorsport-events.co.uk/ (http://www.motorsport-events.co.uk/).
Very good company, well organised. Open pit cost ?79 for the day with a free lesson from one of the instructors which she took.

So if your looking for cheap, well organised trackdays check them out.

Didn't take any photo's but a guy was there taking them of which she's ordering the CD for a chrimbo present for me.

Click the linkhttp://photodirectuk.com/MSE07/33%20Colerne%200312/05%20Vauxhall%20Corsa%20Gsi/index.htm for some photo's. Sorry it is a Corsa and most of the pics are of the mrs.

Th misses really enjoyed it, being able to drive a car without any restrictions.
Although she did find it quite hard to get out of the drving on normal road mode ie, accelerating hard, driving line andthe way you use the steering wheel. But she did take advice and really improved and was going quite smoothly by the end of the day.

Which is what its all about.

Roll on the next one, which she whats to come on too.

Your misses will love it, even if she says shes not bothered about trying it. Get her in the car and driving and she'll love you forever!
