GM made a blank for early cars that only had 1 wing mirror (think 1985...) maybe source them from Steve (Duick). Failing that a vinyl trimmed peice of plastic bonded in place will look good.

My G reg saloon I've just bought had 2 blanking plates on the inside and 2 wing mirrors! These now gone to my red one with 400 mirrors.
The other thing I was gonna do is put tweeters in there.
Mirrors which don't have internal adjusters all have interior blanking plates, wouldn't have said they were that rare tbh. My saloon had them, but I've since swapped them out for SR mirrors and plates (i.e. with adjusters)

i don't think the blanking innards will fit if you want to run the plastic window surrounds.
I've used some cutouts of carbon fibre but with a cardboard template would be easy to cut out of anything else.

Best way to see if blanking plates would fit tho is to just offer up a normal one.

Buy a RHD Nova passenger side exterior blanking plate & a LHD Corsa A passenger blanking plate like I did. Fit perfect ;)
Should be able to get them through a dealer if they are willing to order them.
Remeber there are 2 versions tho, with & without window surround trims.

Should be ok. You take out the screw at the front and he seperates into 2 parts. You may have to cut some plastic away but should be doable.
