Very
and expensive

Why do you want it over the pass side? Theres even less room on that side compared to the other side.

Tig welders starting at ?1200+

I've operated a tig welding machine, and watched tig welders at work, its notably harder than migwelding, but with practise and some jigs I'd expect to be able to do it myself. I've never used a migwelder.

If you fabricated all of the parts, I'm sure you could find someone somewhere to tig up all the peices.

On the inner wing is best, but the coolant tank and washer bottle etc are in the way.
Plus remember the space for the afm etc too.

the afm is a ##at the washer is going in rear quarter
header is gonna go somewhere else not yet decided but realy want clear
inner wings might have a go at making an alloy/stainless inlet that
goes onto the original inlet with samco's or somit if you get what
i mean sort of like tb manifold
cant think what to do with the afm is there anyway to bypass it
without spending to much

Adam

You cant bypass it no, as the ecu needs it

Define "spending too much", twin carbs or throttle bodies would do away with it entirely, but then you need to factor in the setup costs aswell.

Make an inlet from steel instead and migweld it yourself?
