air box with a bigger intake pipe and get rid of the trumpet on the upper part on the inside.

I agree on the modded airbox.
I had a pipercross vector cone filter for a while which sounded awesome & pulled really well too.
However I prefer to see an irbox & the bhp you can gain is almost free, compared with ?70 for a cone.
A long long time ago, in the days of waaaaaaaay back, PNG and Fast Car done a RR day comparing airbox's to cone/induction kits :thumb:
According to there findings, the airbox won hands down.

I was asked to leave Wh Smiths last week whilst reading ppc mag for about 30mins :D
yeh they did a test in TV a couple of years ago.tested on a nova gte an saw 10bhp from the modded air box.but they dont look to good so sticking with the cone.lol
The airbox looks nicer than the cone imo.
Makes the bay look more cool and factory.
A XE conversion with an original airbox, makes the engine look more at home,Lol.

Cones work better on the open road than in a hot engine bay with a lame fan puffing air at it woefully, on the rollers.
I'd expect most torque from an enclosed airbox tbh.
