You can get them on an Hreg so about 1990/91

What difference does it make what year it is then?

You can get mk1's on a Jreg, mine was a Gte
Think those are the freak ones left over and things, the actual change over im sure was 31 august 1990.

Must have been a replica, as said you can get mk1 and mk2 on a h-reg, so mid-late 1990 :thumb:

Can assure you it wasnt a replica, it was late registered by the dealer.
In the same way you can get some Lreg novas

Mk 2 novas started on a M chassis which came in august /sept 1990

Glad thats cleared up.
If you want to see approx date of build, check the dates moulded into various interior plastics.
Mine are moulded Nov 1990 & the car was registered Dec 12th 1990.

Mate was this a grey gte, totally standard , and still had "made in spain" sticker in the window ,and sold to guy outside of glasgow called Ben, by any chance ?

No was black slightly modded, sold to local boy that killed it.
Know of the car your on about, there was also a red gte Jreg at one time.
