nova very difficult ot start on a morning it missfires for about a minute then its ok an never does it again for the rest of the day any ideas on why it does this i thought it may be the rotor arm or distributor cap its a 1.2i c12nz engine cheers damen

It could be lots of things to be honest, plugs, leads, dizzy cap, rotor arm, dirty injector(its only got one), dodgy temp sensor etc..
Give it a thourough service and see if that helps.
i think its choke related do you have auto choke
if it was plug rotor etc it would it all the time

SPI doesnt have a choke, the ECU handles that side of things, based on engine temperature.

Try new plugs, rotaor arm & dizzy cap.
Inspect them atleast. gap the plugs to .9mm.
