'Bo Selecta!'

Does anyone have any idea why my car won't go into 4th gear? It's been playing up for a while now, been difficult to select 4th, in fact all the gears have been hard to get into gear but now 4th just doesn't want to know. At the moment I'm thinking about fitting a new box and sport clutch but before I do anything drastic does anyone know exactly what it is so I can get it sorted and carry on spending money on moding my nova.
Is it just my linkage or selector :?:

check the pin that the linkage pivots on, if its worn, or poped up a bit gear selection is bad. also check the rest of the linkage such as ball joints, if no better try taking the linkage off that conects it to the stick (13mm/14mm nuts) and refit!!
