Hey there just wondering if anyone can help. Ive purchased and have begun fitting a pair of twin 40 webers to my Vauxhall Nova 1300cc SR (1985)
Now i've got the old carb off and i've installed the adapter inlet to allow me to install the webbers however ive been having a lot of trouble trying to find a way to get the left hand carb on because there is no clearance at the alternator. Do i need a new bracket and where can i get one from? - any help would be much appreciated as i need to get these on asap!
Many thanks Dex

Yes, you have to fit a lowered alternator bracket, to drop the alternator.
