Unfortunately the people who mock their religion give the terrorists/fanaticals/bearded cave dwellers/hook-appendaged scholars additional reason to hate the "infidels".

Apparently, word is the local fundamentalists have had it in for that woman for a long time as she represents many things their Islamic society is against - being a single female in a position of authority (teacher) for example.
