Shame. Im sure he would have rather karked it by being smeared all over a concrete wall, or in lots of different bits at the bottom of a ravine!

I'm old enough to remember him 1st time round. I had the Evel Knievel Stunt motorbike toy. God! if only I'd known about ebay & keeping the packaging. I just jumped it over everything in sight.

I had skinned knees & elbows for most of the seventies due to Evel. my brother rode a pram chassis down our garden steps, landed in a big heap & said to my mum 'Well Evel Knievel rode his motorbike up the eiffel tower'
Playing outside was such fun in those days
