coffee tastes of ****, but either way you should never put milk in first. Thats a school boy error, as yuo can never judge it right an will either need to have a top up or pour it down the drain as you got to excited with the milk.

The best way is to add water at around 85-90 degrees to the coffee to avoid, as said earlier, burning the coffee. Then add hot milk or if you really know what your doing force steam into the cold milk to heat it up just below the surface. This brings the best of the milk (sure theres a name for it) to the top, this is the bit you use and throw the other 80% of the spent milk away. A lot of coffee shops do a similar thing but make the mistake of using all the milk after they have boiled the steam through it.

Don't ask me how I know - previous job fixing posh coffee machines :D

it depends on what coffee your using. If you use that feeze dried granuals stuff and add milk 1st the granuals dont disolve and go all lumpy and sh1te.

I find if you add coffee, sugar then a bit of hot water, disolve granuals, then add more water then add milk.

However I personally cant stand normal coffee - prefer filtered stuff.

Like the strong concentrated sh1te at the bottom

I find if I make tea or coffee milk first then I make it too milky. And them there's no colour to it. lol
So water first and then add milk until required colour is established. :D

I don't have milk in my coffee.

But if I did the water would go in first. No reason for it, its just how I do it. I would also that bet no one would be able to tell which way around the water/milk went in when tasting the coffee anyway.

actually baxter you would be suprised how good maccys coffee is, its one of the only things that is made properly. as in with proper nescafe beans
