iirc they dont fit in the mk2 slot, you have to mod the top dash vents for the radio to go there?
do you mean because of the angle the stereo is at..
the easiest wa to do it is to buy one that has either a sensor on it already that detects if some thing is behine it so it wil stop it lifting a full 90 degrees or with a pioneer one they can use set memory so you can set it to the angle you want and it will load there automatically.
thats if you mean about the screen opening up and hitting the dash due to the angle the stereo is in of course
oreyt ask dan23 on here think he has got a top mount for the sterio where the heater vents are on a mk2 dont know if hes still got it but worth a try cheers damen.
Decided on this idea.
I Took This.

Errrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr RPIDSPEED. Is it the DVD HU? If it is, all my mates have had problem's with those HU's, pile of poo!
I could have sworn I'd already replied to this, but then realised it was the other thread lol
Cooch, I guess Martin's just using the sh!tspeed HU as a temporary guide, as his other thread says he has an Alpine HU :thumb:
