hey again guys. whilst stripping down my gte and making sure it was a standard cam.i noticed that it had a letter B stamped on the end of it. looking in the haynes manual it should be a H. the B cam should be in a 1.3.

so wat does this mean? someone changed it for performance reasons?any body help on that one?

or they put the wrong one in.

any input guys???

Btw, some gte cams were stamped B for some reason.
They are still GTE cams....

The 1.3 cam has a fuel pump lobe and a SLOT drive for the dizzy./

Nope, gte dizzy is pin driven.
I had a gte cam, stamped B, that i removed from a gte engine myself...
So it was definently a gte cam.
