hey everyone, i was thinking about putting a disk conversion on my nova off the astra but i am not sure if i have to change the master cylinder to the astra one. also is there anything else i have to change to get it to fit?

no you can use all nova master cylinders just change the calipers, pads and disks

for the rear, i am going to put 256mm cav breakson the front,

in that case you want the bias proportioning valves from the donor cars mastercylinder.

im still on the standard master cylinder on mine (has disks on back)
but i do find its a bugger for locking up sometimes

They are the chunky hex shaped things screwed into 2 ports of the master cylinder. Brake lines off job to fit....

one other thing ive been told is i may have to use the rear beam of the astra aswell is this true?

i wasnt aware of that......and ive just stripped all the stuff off my sri cav doner car
i'll try n screw them off before it goes to the scrappy...but the guy was meant to be lifting it 2nite
are these compulsary???
